The 'Coast to Coast' walk is one of the world's great walks and enjoyed by many of all ages. Totalling 191 miles of footpaths from one coast to another, covering three national parks, Alfred Wainwright (famous for his pictorial guides to The Lakeland Fells) created a truly incredible long distance walk within England.
It may not be the longest or the most difficult but the views to be appreciated, more than make up for it. The Coast to Coast gives the perfect vision of England and our most picturesque villages, lakes, mountains and moors. Richmond is 117 miles along the way!
